The agent that grades itself

A coding agent writes a function from a spec. It runs the tests. Two fail. The naive agent returns the code anyway, because writing was the task and writing is done. Your agent is standing at the same fork. The tests just failed. What should it do next? Critique, then revise. A second pass reads the failing tests, says what is wrong, and the coder tries again with that feedback. That loop is Reflection. It is the same idea as code review or a red green refactor cycle, only the reviewer is a model and the loop runs in seconds.
